Comments/Response From [ Lieutenant Paul Baum ]
DISPO: In policy ACTION: No further action. COMMENTS: I reviewed all related DRs, Blue Team
forced entry report, and the photos in Mideo. Based on the reports and sergeant's investigation, I
believe the officers had exigent circumstances to force entry and the force used (unintentional but
caused by the forced entry) was reasonable and justified.

DIPSO: In policy ACTION: No action required COMMENTS: After reviewing the related reports in
Tiberon and viewing the photos in Mideo, I believe that the forced used was objectively reasonable
based on the totality of the circumstances. I also concur with Lieutenant Baum's decision to have
the forced entry also viewed as a use of force due to the injuries and so that the incident will have
the same checks and balances as a typical use of force.
Comments/Response From [ Reserve Officer Elizabeth Griffin ]
UOF was unintentional. No further action required.

Please review. UOF was unintentional. No further action required.
Comments/Response From [Lieutenant David Poss]
The forced entry into the residence was justified. When the front door was forced open it
inadvertently caused an injury to one of the subjects inside. No further action necessary.
