Incident Summary
DISPATCH
On 03/05/2014 Officers were attempting to stop a wanted person. The suspect fled and a foot pursuit ensued. At the
termination of the foot pursuit a Use of Force occurred. Call # 1521 DR 14-13871
FORCE USED
Officer Brammer used his ECD on the suspect when he failed to comply and continued to flee during a foot pursuit. 3
cycles were used, one cartridge. Both probes hit the suspect. ECD was effective.
INJURIES – SUSPECT
Suspect received a small abrasion to his chin, small cut on his upper lip, chipped front teeth (2), abrasion to his right
knee.
Suspect was treated at St. Mary’s ER and cleared for booking.

I interviewed the suspect and made an audio recording. I placed a copy of the recording in evidence and attached a copy

Based on my investigation the force used was necessary, reasonable and within department policy.
