I examined latent print evidence obtained from evidence (Sig Sauer serial number under tag
820968) and stored under latent tag 821304. One latent photo was obtained and evaluated for comparison.
I obtained a fingerprint exemplar card of Chester, Kendrick (SID from the Department of Justice
database on October 30, 2014 at the request of Detective Collier.
Using magnification, I performed a side-by-side comparison of the latent prints to the exemplar prints; the
following are my results and opinions:
Photo 1 was obtained from Item 1 -right side of gun near serial number on slide:
Photo 1 -Inconclusive to Chester. Latent 1A was inconclusive based on lack of sufficient ridge detail to
identify or exclude.
The latent print evidence was maintained by the Latent Print Unit.
