Dear Mr. Behrens:
This will serve as official notice that you are being released from your unclassified
position of Jail Administrator in the Police Department, effective February 21 , 2019.
You are also directed to turn in any City property including keys, City identification card ,
phone, or other items to Alex Avila, Deputy Chief.
Your unclassified status precludes appealing this action to the Civil Service
Commission. However, if you wish to discuss this action , please call 562-570-6140 to
schedule an appointment with Alex Basquez, Director for the Human Resources
Department.
